This is an invitation from American Airlines to the christening of the first 707 flight by Pat Nixon, wife of later President Richard Nixon. Service ran from Baltimore, Maryland, to Los Angeles, California. The Boeing 707 went on to become the first commercially successful passenger jet. Max Faget was a guest on the inaugural flight and a list of the passenger manifest, along with other ephemera from the flight, can be found in the Max Faget Collection. June 7, 1959.
