Space Stations that Never Were

The Industrial Space Facility (ISF) was a project conceived by Faget and designed by his company, Space Industries. The Industrial Space Facility was designed to bring commercialization to space. Space Industries partnered with NASA on this project, but it was ultimately abandoned when difficulties arose in finding commercial companies to rent space on ISF.

The Space Station Freedom was another NASA project that was never completed.
