Photographic reproduction of an original pencil sketch by NASA Art Program artist Paul Calle of the main American and Russian crews’ members for the upcoming joint US-Russian Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission. They are pictured posing by a Russian Soyuz training spacecraft at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Moscow, Russia, in July 1974. American crew members pictured are Thomas P. Stafford, Vance D. Brand, and Deke Slayton. Russian cosmonauts pictured are Aleksey A. Leonov and Valeriy N. Kubasov. NASA sent Calle to Moscow with the NASA delegation to document through art the entire training period in Star City. Glynn Lunney was the program manager for NASA on the ASTP Program.
